I just started reading your wonderful work with the pomegranate article. This essay is of great value as it brings Dr. Whelan’s profound analysis and synthesis of the evidence at the time into the spotlight again — paired with your vital recommendations for potential harm reduction and remedy. Bless you for the discussion on supplements. Our rights to access supplements must be preserved from the likes of Senator Durban who is once again trying to move legislation to regulate supplements for our so called protection — an act of fatal paternalism that he tried over 20 years ago with Hilary (NY Senator). These foul efforts for Big Pharma were blocked by two bipartisan giants — Senators Harkin and Hatch who responded to the greatest public letter writing outcry known at the time. I had gotten one of Dr Mercola’s products lumbrokinase based on reading his blurb in a “read between the lines” fashion — he has also been a practical writer for remedies despite his ongoing persecution. Tip — look at what the FDA wants to ban in the supplements line. Dr Bhakdi’s very early videos decry in 2020 much of what Dr Whelan so beautifully presents evidentially regards vessel damage mechanisms at multiple dynamically cascading levels. But, Whelan’s citations are crucial and his suggestions for imaging and methods of demonstrating pathological processes are pure gold for scientific advancement. I am a clinical librarian-informationist and this essay demonstrated the value of the secondary literature, public commentary, and substack media to advance original synthesis to the community of interest. I didn’t really understand what was meant by “tin foil” label since I recently saw Bobby Kennedy’s interview on the CHD Chanel with Jeff Hayes on the new movie. Finally, I loved your in-text citation of the substack that advanced information for you. Nicely done citation reference— elegant scholarship in this publication format. 🥰 I am a big fan and will look for more of your potentially life saving essays. Thank you very much for your work and attention to old school standards.

Thank you very much. Agree about the bans being forewarning of trouble. Hillary buddies are also troubling.

I am reworking the flow/focus of my too long paper and just did a new Abstract this morning. The journal I am submitting uses Harvard style citation and in retrospect, it really helps to keep track of the research rather than the (1), (39), (123), system. My body of work is large and tracking the correct (14) is sometimes challenging. I just click the link and start over on a citation. Adding the in text name mention was very helpful recently - a peer reviewed article had a wrong citation, but the name was mentioned in the paragraph and so I was able to find the correct paper.

Over the years I found that including the full http.... is a good idea because it often includes date/publication/name of article and so a broken link can sometimes be refound with the other details.

I had the good fortune of my doctor back in 1985 recommending Dr Joseph Mercola to me for a more osteopathic/natural approach. (Imagine that! Kinder, perhaps wiser times in some ways)

It was when Dr Mercola had his clinic in Hoffman Estates, a suburb of Chicago (and yes, Sen Durbin, in my opinion, has been extremely harmful with his drastic & draconian positions on health & natural remedies.) Dr Mercola has persevered in the face of a terrible onslaught against freedom

of information.

I particularly like recommending him with the current notice of number one disinformationist ala Uncle Joe’s list of martyrs for truth. Dr Mercola’s interview long ago with Dr Wakefield was a stunning revelation of international crimes against populations (e.g. the choice of a known detrimental vaccine vs a less detrimental vaccine (see UK and Canadian gov actors) because of Pharma nationality. I’m a Chicagoan and it’s interesting to see Jimmy Dore and Mercola’s roots from the neighborhood. Dr Mercola’s interviews with other courageous scientists were so far ahead of the time that they are still relevant to breaking news.

Excellent! I have lived in the Chicagoland area for almost 40 years and love IL. The corruption in both the local media & the politics has always dismayed me. But, I have been blessed to still be able to access great health info outside of the meanstream drivel.

Typo. It’s Senator Durbin not Durban.

Consider the protocols/advice we are given in Canada if we get infected, to stay at home and self-isolate. What about the elderly and people with co-morbidities? How are they to survive exposure to spike proteins? Microvasculature and fat tissue have the highest ACE-2 receptors, if we allow our entire microvasculature to become infected we can say goodbye to our li g term health. I lost 60 pounds of weight, exclusively in my adipose in just 60 days and doctors had no idea if or how it was connected to SARS-Cov-2 infection. Now we know that self isolation and doing nothing is a bad option that increases likelihood of morbidity and mortality.

I was suspicious at the "Stay home, wash your hands, until blue in the face, then call for help (while breathless)" - inherent flaw in the plan.

I am in tears for the children (and parents) - it appears there is little to no way to stop the avalanche of continued “quackcenes” approved by corrupted govt agencies led by truly immoral malfeasance.

Your articles for a much better way of health are stellar, Jennifer. Thank you.

It is very sad and I hope it is stopped.

and you are very welcome, and awe gee, thanks. That does help to hear.

*recent post/conversation about gratitude and research into it. https://www.peace-is-happy.org/post/the-attitude-of-gratitude

Corollary to my post -> Do good for the sake of doing good, but receiving thanks is nice too.
