For the past couple of weeks, dogs in our neighborhood suddenly have become really friendly toward me. Jumping on me, wanting to connect. I haven't been feeling well, so I suspect they're trying to give me good energy. My energy field is very strong and animals are usually drawn to me, but not to this extent :-)
Although felines are indeed our key, in Baum's books only Eureka and Bungle appear, and neither pulls back the curtain on the wizard. In the film, Toto the Dog has this distinction.
