I'd be more likely to use more supplements if I could read more studies on side effects, effective doses, and other possible problems vs other medications. I did learn that pokeberries cause breast cancer, and NAC has been linked to cancer formation and growth.
I do use echinacea since it seems effective to fight colds and flu (for me).
Moderation is important and some of the those warnings about "might cause cancer" were based on high doses in animal studies. So yes, I see, more of an herbal guidebook style would be helpful to you.
So true Jennifer. A Chinese reader, Liu, carries wise Chinese medicinal advice in his old head on young shoulders. He emails me at least twice a week with observations which astound me with their deep 5000+ year old experience and wisdom. I stand in awe that we, in the western world, have ignored such historic natural medication.

I will give it a try Jennifer, thanks. And it looks of as if the Substack probklems has gone away - testing...testing....
I am still inverting and swirling my jar occasionally. I have it in a darkened spot thinking light usually doesn't help preserve nutrients.
