>>Who knew that eating could be such a minefield?

I have only ever broken out in hives once, and it was shortly after dinner one evening - it only lasted for 30 minutes or so, after which I was fine. So what part of the meal did it? There were no unusual or infrequent ingredients...although the avocado was rather overripe. Sure enough, there's a common cross reaction between avocado and birch pollen allergy (similar protein structure), and it was high birch season at the time.

So now I must avoid avocado in the spring. Talk about "live and learn!"

Very interesting lesson to learn though. Nature is weird and wonderful.

Sad times. I hadn't seen that movie before.

Thanks for the feedback about this post. I think it is important, a big breakthrough even, to find health care strategies that can help misdiagnosed and complicated issues, but I don't get many likes. it is hard to know what people are interested in. I have my Thinking Cap regarding what to do with this info.

Any opinion on the evils or non-evils of using Facebook for a private or public community group? It is free and a lot of people still use the site.

JD - "I hadn't seen that movie before" Watch the entire movie, one of my top 10. "I don't get many likes" Do not be discouraged. "using Facebook" - like ALL social media, you will be monitored and censored. Use them for what you can to gain audience.

....and Christopher Walken, my mistake.

What a sad movie. And it had smellovision. I got a whiff of morning after drunk with the car in the mountain seen, morning after the wedding. I haven't had memory smells very often. Lilac when looking at a photo of lilacs.

The Nick character didn't eat enough to begin with. There was chatter about it early, Why don't we ever see you eat anything Nick? He replied something about that he didn't eat because that kept the fear stronger. Roughly

Prosaic, sensible. Thanks. I do tend to overthink, or castastrophize maybe.

and thanks for the movie recommendation. I do like Steve Buscemi as an actor. That was an unsettling scene.
