The piece from Adam Gertner is frustrating to read. He may be right, but he doesn't back up his claims with much solid evidence.

Especially: "we’re talking about parts per million exposure likely coming for everybody east of the Mississippi." He provides no link to anything that supports this "parts per million" guess. Maybe Adam knows where he's getting it, but the reader doesn't. So it ends up looking like he pulled it out of thin air.

And all of the reports of "acid rain" are Tweets from people in the areas he lists, about chemical smells in the air, residue on cars, etc. The report from Kentucky is just a Tweet that reads "H²0 water samples are testing contaminated as far as Central Kentucky. Lots of reports about Acid rain as well"... but with no links, nothing to back up either claim.

(I also don't see any source for his claim about the 15 tanker trucks labelled "3082", presumably carrying nickel oxide.)

The big question here is: HOW MUCH of the toxins that have been released in East Palestine can travel HOW FAR away from there, and in what directions, and by what modes?

There's just not enough meat in his piece to provide anything approaching an answer to that question.

I agree, speculative and fearful. I would like to know more about the nickel chemical too.

Thank you, Jennifer!

So, so, scary. It literally takes away one's breath.

Thought you would be interested in Dr. Nagase's freshly posted article on Line 1.
