JD - Not a very good, but excellent missive. People oft forget the littlest and smallest of things.

Thanks NN, and happy day to you!

It was a happy coincidence that I found that library book. “The Prime” sounded a little like the Primal diet, a spinoff on Paleo and my course includes learning more about Paleo - which was enlightening and deserves a post too. I read a book by Loren Courdain and he made a lot of sense.

The more extreme diet proponents can tend to demonize the avoided food groups a bit much in my opinion. This Integrative Ayurvedic author leaned heavily towards vegetarian but discussed how the different types varied in their need for animal foods vs plant foods for optimal health. And she also pointed out that animal products can lead to autoimmune problems too, not just gluten.

I am on a crash course on current and/or out of date yet still in use special diets. The over restricting of fiber and carb diets may be leaving the microbiome too depleted for gut health to be restored. It turns out the gut muscle action needs microbial inputs to be properly stimulated. Post started on that.

We had all better get used to taking care of our microbiome, because the SARS mutations like omicron are heavily targeting our guts, by creating leaky junctions with DAMP’s, especially HMGB1, very destructive protein.

Love the Nyepa diagram. I can relate. This is also why EMF and our microbiome/ soil is an important focus as wireless radiation can exacerbate antibiotic resistance.
