JD - Thank you for the absolutely masterful explanation of structured water and how to DIY.

Sidebar from my previous comment re: calcium oxalate

Turmeric contains oxalate, could stimulate gallbladder contractions; increase gallstone development; could bind to calcium increasing the chance of kidney stone formation.

I have found that I don't tolerate turmeric well. Now I know why.

I got myself some TCM books on the elements and personality and health imbalance issues. One has very helpful strategies for rebalancing and it was interesting to see that I do some of them. Others are likely going to be helpful for my 'Rebellious Liver Qi' and Stagnant Kidney Qi.

I have been way out of balance for a long time, I see now. The blogging and writing is an outlet that I enjoy, but I tend to push myself too much doing that and don't do my own self care or fun stuff.

I have added a bit more photography to my recent posts because that is a creative outlet I enjoy. Talking about CoV crud all the time is retraumatizing imo.

Your a giver, that's your nature, and that's the helping hand nudging you on. Although you can never leave, sometimes you just gotta checkout... "warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air." https://youtu.be/09839DpTctU?

I have long used used glass 1 gallon apple juice bottles I "harvested" from my Wedge, now "sold out" co-op?, dumpster.

Beware - sunlight coming through these glass bottles filled with water sitting in the front seat of your old pickup truck can and will, via the magnifying glass effect of these bottles, BURN HOLES in the passenger side of the front seat of your old pickup truck..

I believe it. The tarp got ruined from so many burn holes. I had an kitchen table sitting outside for the summer so I had put a tarp on it.

Very welcome 🤗

Did you click through to the Black Bean soup photos? That post is on my Jenniferdepew.com site. I am going to add more organized posts there, based on my somewhat haphazard posts here.

Now I have to go back and see the relation between structured water and zeta potential... I shouldn't read so much... or at least stay on one topic at a time... lol... I think to get the zeta potential right it is potassium that is used and an easy structured water is chia seeds... I think. I have been meaning to let the chia soak overnight so I've got the structured water instead of just adding chia to every recipe.

I had no idea that sun tea, or any sun-ified liquid became structured.... is that because of the frequency? Do you have any citation for that so I can read more on it?

See this post. It was a Dave Asprey video that had various ways to structure water.

3 or 4 related posts are on two books by Gerald H Pollack. Check my archives for 'Gerald Pollack's and they should turn up.

Once you try structured water you can learn to tell the difference between tap and the structured water. It has a very slightly thicker and slipperier mouth feel - very slightly more like Jello. The cappuccino like hot drink is obviously creamier than regular water. It is easy to tell that it is a little thicker and more slippery within the mouth.

I had my daughter do a blind taste test when she was visiting this summer and having never tried it before, she was able to tell the difference between tap water and my glass bottle structured water.

Thanks! I picked up Pollack's -The 4th phase - several yrs ago... guess I'll have to refresh my memory. It's making more sense now that so many are explaining the different ways it affects the body. Chia seed water gives that slippery feeling... something I need to try harder to make a habit.

Yes that is a mucilaginous fiber thickening the water but it probably is structuring it. Timothy Winey did an experiment with chia seeds -he shared it in a comment in that post I think.
