Social Engineering the Public's Perception - a Poem and a video link
Two perps, but only one gets to be the poor loner high school student . . . who went bad and is registered Republican - who are the ones who are so violent ....
Befuddled, led astray Red herring 1 Red herring 2 Where's the real McCoy? Hiding behind two decoys? Crooks in the water tower, Maxwell on the roof, Look up, Look up! Don't you see Secret Service? What we see?
Summary: There are three witnesses reporting a second perp was killed at the water tower. The shooter on the roof is much more likely to be Maxwell Yearick, anarchist, Antifa, Ukraine military volunteer more recently - possibly as a way to get of jail after being arrested for violence at Trump and Seattle protests.
Crooks is now reported to have had a car there, with some explosives…, but a white van had initially been reported to be the perps, so that makes two vehicles, yet only Crooks as a perp?
An AR15 is not really for sniper situations. Brave AI reported Yearick as the shooter and the weapon as a Remington 700 which is a typical for a sniper to use. The laying down pose with a light glare that might be a telescope makes more sense for a longer gun than an AR15. *Edit - I am probably wrong about the gun - the sounds of the shots were rapid fire, more rapid than likely is possible from a Remington 700.
AR15 is a buzzword for the gun-ban leftists to immediately react too - like a Pavlovian buzzer for the trained Woke voters. The photo of the AR on the roof too far away from the body to be reached seemed like an arranged photo op to me.
I have a series of posts about this with more info on Yearick. He had big tattoos so there would be no way to confuse ID at an autopsy.

Social Engineering - the Lone Wolf - troubled teen with dad’s AR15 is a meme - a Pavlovian dog whistle for the public.
A video by CrowdSourceTheTruth (x.com/JG_CSTT) discusses the concept of “Social Engineering” - why is the mass shooter always a “lone wolf”, with problems in school, and a picture of youngster is shown around by the media instead of a more recent photo? It is grabbing public perception and setting a first impression in everyone’s mind. Multiple confusing photos may be shown and some may be a composite - a fake photo blending features from two people, so the real perp’s image doesn’t seem to match.
There were likely two perps though, one was shot at the water tower and another shot was heard, after a slight pause. Initially several shots from the direction of the rooftop shooter, then return fire from the counter sniper, then a pause, and a single ninth shot.
Given this info, and that Crooks did have a car on site, which was not the initially found white van, suggests that Yearick was on the roof and Crooks was in the water tower.

That is what happened regarding the confusion over photos of Crooks (Red Herring 1), versus the unrelated photo of jewgazing, a (live) internet troll, (Red Herring 2), versus photos of the initially mentioned suspect (Maxwell Yearick) who also matches the dead suspect’s image the most and has military training as a Ukraine volunteer.
___
More photo and screenshot evidence is needed because the internet is being wiped of both Crooks and Yearick.
The CrowdSourceTheTruth video is long and slow in parts, towards the end is more of the story. A Russian news source has a story about Maxwell Yearick having been arrested as a protestor and was now volunteering for the Ukraine military. The US feds probably can’t get that media wiped.
The discussion suggests the history of Yearick following the protest arrest was that while in jail for a year he may have been talked into working with them or going to Ukraine in exchange for release. And then later, the sniper set up. He may have been given the idea that he would still be alive and known for the event instead of being replaced by Crooks as the lone shooter. The countersniper broke orders to fire back according to a post on 4chan (unverified).
The crypto account with the label (SHOOTER) suggests to me that Maxwell had that as a backup plan. Blockchain records are permanent compared to other internet files.

Maxwell Yearick where are you? July 15, 2024, (Substack) *Seems to be the dead shooter on the roof, Crooks may have been killed in a water tower that was in the line of site of the stage but farther away - longer shot to take. The roof shooter is the direction the bullets were from which killed the man in the bleachers.

Social engineering of public perception
Social engineering of public perception refers to the intentional manipulation of information and narratives to influence large-scale attitudes and behaviors. This concept has been explored in various fields, including political science, psychology, and information security.
Government and Private Group Efforts
In political science, social engineering is understood as top-down efforts to shape public opinion and behavior on a large scale. Governments, media, academia, and private groups may employ this tactic to produce desired characteristics in a target population. For instance, governments may use propaganda to promote national unity or combat perceived threats.
“Social engineering is a concept in political science that refers to efforts to influence popular attitudes and social behavior on a large scale, whether by governments or private groups.
For various reasons, the term has been imbued with negative connotations. Virtually all law and governance has the effect of changing behavior and can be considered "social engineering" to some extent. Prohibitions on murder, rape, suicide and littering are all policies aimed at discouraging perceived undesirable behaviors. In British and Canadian jurisprudence, changing public attitudes about a behaviour is accepted as one of the key functioning of laws prohibiting it. Governments also influence behavior more subtly through incentives and disincentives built into economic policy and tax policy, for instance, and have done so for centuries.” — Social engineering (political science) | Psychology Wiki | Fandom
Psychological Manipulation
Social engineering exploits human cognitive biases and basic instincts, such as trust, to influence behavior. It can involve injecting misinformation, gaslighting, and distorting perceptions of reality. This can lead to the erosion of truth and the questioning of established facts, as seen in the Cambridge Analytica case.
Information Security Threat
In the context of information security, social engineering is a significant threat. Hackers and cybercriminals use psychological manipulation to trick individuals into divulging confidential information or accessing sensitive systems. This can occur through various channels, including social media, email, and phone calls.
“Social engineering can be defined as the act of manipulating human beings, most often with the use of psychological persuasion, to gain access to systems containing data, documents, and information that the social engineer should not have access to obtain (Mitnick & Simon, 2002; Tetri & Vuorinen, 2013; Heartfield & Loukas, 2015). Various forms of social engineering can be found throughout history, but considering the increased use of technology in today's world in every aspect of life, the threat continues to grow and develop into a complex process that can be difficult to stop. In fact, social engineering can be considered one of the leading threats to information security today (Airehrour, Nair, & Madanian, 2018; Mitnick & Simon, 2002).” — An interdisciplinary view of social engineering: A call to action for research - ScienceDirect
