Always picking up tidbits of knowledge from you - now to find more about pom juice as all findings of product are high sugar and pasteurized.

I buy the fruit in season and save some of the peel but have been using the juice for my mom. The organic juices aren't sweetened, just juice is high sugar content naturally.

I dilute with water and add a little sweetener to hers and a dash of baking soda to take the edge off the tartness.

I have notice achy back muscle tissue, less so in the limbs in the morning whenever i eat pepper, tomatoes,potatoes

and have thought maybe that's what people with fibromyalgia must feel but all the time.

Have always thought its because of solanine.

I don't feel it with carrots.

(Unripe ground cherries are sour and contain solanine and solanidine)

I am sensitive to white potatoes too, and yes they would cause the achy pain feeling also. Even potato starch thickened broth would.

Maybe I am sensitive to both carotenoids and solanine and you are only sensitive to the solanine/solanidine.
