My mom used to prepare a tincture of the peel in white wine and use it for female/reproductive issues. It used to be a very common practice in Brazil while I was growing up.
Wow! Great compilation of information. Thank you for being such a blessing to humanity.
Im a huge fan of learning how to use the entire plant/animal. I have a pomegranate on the counter and will dehydrate my first round of peel. Planning to make some tea blends for mum and will be sure to add some dehydrated pomegranate to one of the blends. ❤️❤️
Awesome! I should stress long gentle steeping for pom peel. Outer rind becomes bark like. I make a bigger batch, steep 20-30 minutes and keep it in the fridge and add hot water, dilute it 50/50 for the next few days. It wouldn't add much to a drink steeped for just a few minutes. Maybe the inner pith would work in a short steep tea. Or ground somewhat. I am not sure. I have always made a long steep brew and add other things for flavor. The pom peel adds tang and bitter depending on how strong it is. I will add a smidge of baking soda if too acidic of an extract. I made very strong batches in early trials.
This post is GOLDEN, Jennifer! I’m tweeting it out now.
Aw, thanks 😊 💓
I read also of other fruits that were recommended especially against covid: pineapple, grapefruit
yes. Citrus peel is very helpful for the congestion stage. It has anti-asthmatic benefits, mucus thinning, airway opening.
Pineapple for bromelain - fibrinolytic, decongestant effects too.
Does grapefruit peel contain quinine like tonic water? Could it work in the same way like against malaria, if I remember correctly?
Thanks for great information!
Very interesting, thank your for this information.
Wonderful! you are very welcome.

Sounds like another actual cure for disease that has been suppressed by the modern day FDA/ chemotherapy disease alliance!

Ok. Thanks for the advice. Mum won’t bother with that much effort but I will.
I add the strong tea to foods too. Porridge, soup, whatever, maybe only part of the liquid.
