I buy at grocery markets in season and preserve some peel for summer months. US harvest is ~ Sept-Jan and Southern hemisphere harvest is ~ Feb-May. Larger fruit markets are more likely to have pomegranate in the off months. US Nov/Dec is peak season.
Thanks for this. I had no idea that the rind could be dried and utilized. Makes me even more excited that after two years of blossoming followed by a freeze, I can look forward to pomegranates this summer.
