Hi Jennifer, I recently came across a book called Toxic Superfoods by Sally K. Norton and it talks about how oxalates make us so very sick.... have you read it and if so, what do you think about the role that oxalates play in keeping us sick..... https://www.amazon.ca/Toxic-Superfoods-Oxalate-Overload-Sick/dp/0593139585/ref=sr_1_1

I haven't read the book but am familiar that Sally Norton is a knowledgeable author on functional nutrition. I personally did get really sick from oxalates without knowing what I was doing to myself at first. "Healthy" vegan diet is really quite dangerous from the high oxalate foods and in combination with over acidity (from phytic acid upsetting mineral balance) and over-acidity increases risk from oxalates and salicylates.

Do you eat oxalates now/anymore?

Greatly reduced my oxalate intake and I am able to use a few lower ones like celery. Restricting the big load sources like black beans, brown rice, and I blanched almonds/ peeled them, and that helped improve the problem. *But now I can't eat nuts, autoimmune albumin issue.

Many thanks. Great guide. I just finished Dr. Nancy Banks book on; “AIDS opium diamonds and empire” great book and she completely turns HIV on its head and recommends thiol-SH herbs like NAC, garlic, onions, leeks etc. All of which store energy in electrons which they can give the cell. Any more thiol herbs you can think of?
