New bad Dx of the day "Chronic hives"
** aka Mast Cell Overactivity Syndrome or histamine excess, following CoV injection leading to ~ an over sensitive immune system.
What an odd "diagnosis." Why not call it Mast Cell Overactivity Syndrome? Or histamine excess? ..... Because those are treatable while "chronic hives" sounds like you will never, ever be hive free again ...
You may never be hive free again if you don’t learn more about the underlying triggers instead of listening to a medical system that seems focused on denial of reality.
Jumping ahead to the take home points: If “Chronic Hives” are making your life itchy, try to reduce histamine triggers in your diet and lifestyle (flickering lights/action movies, night-time driving; and stress are triggers. Dark sunglasses can prevent the flickering light triggering mast cell degranulation.) Quercetin, luteolin and bromelain are known to help reduce a histamine flair up. Fennel, the vegetable or seeds, or the essential oil from Fennel seeds may also reduce an itchy flair-up. See page Histamine/MCAS on jenniferdepew.com.
“Idiopathic Mast Cell Activation Syndrome
MCAS is a condition in which the patient experiences repeated episodes of the symptoms of anaphylaxis – allergic symptoms such as hives, swelling, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing and severe diarrhea. High levels of mast cell mediators are released during those episodes.” (aaaai.org/mcas)

Men jabbed with Moderna’s mRNA COVID injection are at heightened risk of developing chronic hives, study finds
Researchers in Denmark have discovered that people, and especially young men, who take Moderna's mRNA (modRNA) Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "vaccine" have an increased risk of developing chronic hives.
The Danish Medicines Agency looked at data from Denmark and elsewhere in the European Union (EU) to discover that chronic hives, also known as chronic urticaria, are common side effects of getting jabbed with Moderna.
Of the 360 cases reported in Europe following injection with either Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech, 58 of them were deemed to have probably been caused by the shots while the remaining 228 were determined to possibly have been caused by the shots.
The vast majority of chronic urticaria cases were reported to the government systems by patients, doctors or pharmaceutical companies, the study found.
Chronic hives – why even risk it?
Interestingly, the Danish study found that the risk of chronic urticaria may be higher with the Pfizer injection rather than the Moderna injection, though both are linked to the condition.
Based on background rates of chronic hives, researchers determined that 175 people who took the Pfizer shot would develop the condition while 18 people who received the Moderna shot would develop the condition.
"While the 105 reported cases after Pfizer vaccination came in under the expected number, the 55 reported cases following Moderna vaccination came in well above the expected number," reports indicate as to why the researchers focused more heavily on the Moderna shot in their conclusion.
"The risk of developing chronic hives was calculated to be three times higher for Moderna recipients, compared to the general population. Researchers also stratified the risk by gender and age and found the risk was the highest – 5.2 times higher than the background rate – among young men. Most cases of chronic hives occurred from 7 to 13 days following vaccination."
In a document describing their findings, Danish health authorities emphasized that what they uncovered validates a safety signal or a sign that a vaccine or set of vaccines causes a specific health issue, in this case, chronic urticaria.
While more studies are needed to validate these findings, the scientists involved say they are pretty sure that the shots are causally responsible for this uptick in chronic hives, and that the mode of action has to do with the way the shots damage the immune system.
The earliest safety signals linking COVID-19 injections to chronic hives were reported in Norway in late 2021. At the time, Danish authorities decided that the cases presented were not strong enough to establish a safety signal, but that has since changed with the results of this latest study.
Danish authorities validated the safety signal by looking at medical records associated with the compensation system for vaccine injuries.
Based on the findings, the European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use is recommending that new labeling be attached to Moderna's COVID injections warning that chronic hives are a possible side effect.
"Non-chronic hives is already listed as a possible side effect," reports explain. "If the European Union Commission approves the change, the labeling will be updated to include chronic hives."
Earlier studies have tied COVID-19 injections to chronic hives as well. One in the United States found that recipients who took Moderna developed severe and chronic skin problems similar to those uncovered in Europe.
Swiss researchers also found in 2023 that chronic hives are a potential side effect of taking either Moderna or Pfizer.

‘Today I asked our AI language model “Neo” about which phytonutrients or phytochemicals can block the spike protein related to SARS-CoV-2 … Here is what it answered…’ 03/27/2024 // Mike Adams // 35.4K Views (naturalnews.com) I provided that list minus myricetin way back in 2020, most of it. The knowledge is in Pubmed, if you dig.
Most of the search results for ‘naturalnews’ were hit pieces about what a horrible disinformation site he has - and he is so right wing, etc. Maybe he is just providing helpful info that the FDA can’t ban.

I asked it: "Which phytonutrients or phytochemicals can block the spike protein related to SARS-CoV-2?" [Mike Adams has an AI he has fed all of Pubmed]
Here is what it answered:
“There are several phytonutrients and phytochemicals that have been shown to potentially block the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2. These include:
1. Quercetin: Quercetin is a flavonoid found in many plants, including onions, apples, berries, grapes, and tea. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that quercetin can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro .
2. Resveratrol: Resveratrol is a polyphenol found in grapes, peanuts, berries, and red wine. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that resveratrol can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro .
3. Curcumin: Curcumin is a polyphenol found in turmeric. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that curcumin can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro .
4. Apigenin: Apigenin is a flavone found in many plants, including parsley, celery, chamomile, and citrus fruits. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that apigenin can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro .
5. Kaempferol: Kaempferol is a flavonoid found in many plants, including broccoli, kale, strawberries, and tea. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that kaempferol can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro .
6. Luteolin: Luteolin is a flavone found in many plants, including celery, parsley, broccoli, and peppermint. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that luteolin can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro .
7. Myricetin: Myricetin is a flavonol found in many plants, including grapes, berries, and tea. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that myricetin can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro .
8. Rutin: Rutin is a flavonoid found in many plants, including buckwheat, citrus fruits, and peppers. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that rutin can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro .
9. Genistein: Genistein is an isoflavone found in soybeans, chickpeas, and psoralea. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that genistein can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro .
10. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG): EGCG is a catechin found in green tea. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. Studies have shown that EGCG can inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro.”
[*Green tea, 3 cups provides ~ 200 mcg of EGCG, pomegranate peel, sumac and goji berries have similar phytonutrients.]
~~ The AI does not get any style points for interesting wording. But the point is clear - food has anti-viral value. Shop wisely and better health can be a bonus.
For a similar list with more detail about food sources see page Phytonutrients on jenniferdepew.com. Also my Nrf2 Promoting Foods & Phytonutrients graphics can be a good grocery list, see below.
Doorless Carp has Part 2 of a lengthy review of magnesium in health and lack of it in illness. Magnesium deficiency and associated pathologies: Part 2 (Substack) We learn of another list, on which magnesium takes the number one spot, and many of the Nrf2 promoting phytonutrients also appear towards the top. The ranking is based on how inflammatory or anti-inflammatory the nutrient or substance is. Positive numbers indicate the substance was more anti-inflammatory and negative numbers (at the bottom of the list) indicate it being more inflammatory.
At the bottom of the list we see carbohydrate, fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, which makes sense, but also we see vitamin B12, which doesn’t make sense. It makes me wonder if they were using synthetic “cyanocobalamin” instead of a more natural methyl or hydroxycobalamin.
Fans of alcohol and wine may notice they have fairly elevated position on the list - in small amounts it health benefits the snifter of brandy for shock would be about a half a serving. Health benefits seem to start around 1/3 of a typical serving size of alcohol and may stop around 1 to 2 full servings per day, varying for larger people or for genetic ability to detox alcohol.
Doorless Carp reordered this list for us, (thanks!), based on Table 2 which was developed as an Inflammatory Index to help evaluate a person’s diet for risk of inflammation. It was found to correlate to whether a person would have elevated CRP or not. Eating a diet with an overall higher total number was associated with lower inflammation and lower CRP lab values. Various other studies were used to create the Inflammatory Index (The Supplementary citation list has almost a 1000 references.) To be included the study had to use only the substance, no combination of treatments.(Cavicchia, et al., 2009)
Table 2 is a hodge podge, no obvious order. This ranked list is much easier to see what foods would be part of an inflammatory diet and which nutrients and phytonutrients would be adding anti-inflammatory benefits.
These Adjusted Scores should be considered a rough, very rough guide, because it is based on research studies that isolate one nutrient from the rest and health doesn’t really work that way. But it is a start, it is a rough guide.
Anti-inflammatory Nutrients: magnesium, (0.905 Adjusted Score) beta-carotene, (0.725), vitamin A, (0.58), fiber, (0.52), vitamin E, (0.401), omega 3 fatty acids, (0.384), vitamin C, (0.367), vitamin D, (0.342), zinc, (0.316), vitamin B-6, (0.286), niacin, (0.26), folic acid, (0.214), riboflavin (0.16), protein, (0.05), thiamin, (0.05), iron, (0.029), selenium, (0.021).
Inflammatory Nutrients: Omega 6 fatty acids (-0.016), MUFA, unsaturated fatty acids (-0.05), Vitamin B-12 (-0.09), Cholesterol (-0.21) Saturated Fat (-0.25), Fat (-0.323), Carbohydrate (-0.346).
Anti-inflammatory phytonutrients/functional foods: Turmeric (0.774), Genistein (soy) (0.68), Quercetin (0.49), Luteolin (0.43), Garlic (0.27), Ginger (0.18), Saffron (0.18), Daidzein (isoflavone found in soy and other legumes) (0.17), Cyanidin (an anthocyanidin - red/purple/black berries and produce) (0.13), Epicatechin (tea, pomegranate) (0.12).
Anti-inflammatory alcoholic beverages - moderation is important: Alcohol (0.534), Wine (0.48), Beer (0.2), Liquor (0.1).

“Fennel contains a unique combination of phytonutrients, including the flavonoids rutin, quercitin, and various kaempferol glycosides. These phytonutrients give fennel strong antioxidant abilities. Anethole, another phytonutrient found in fennel, has been repeatedly shown to reduce inflammation and prevent cancer.” (nesfp.nutrition.tufts.edu/world-peas-food-hub/world-peas-csa/produce-recipes/fennel) *This link has a number of recipes for preparing fennel the celery like vegetable.
