Oregano oil in carrier oil or lotion, tea tree oil, Frankincense, aloe vera gel, Epsom salt dissolved in a little water. Stir/shake. Needs glycerin if mixing the aloe vera gel and oil. I may try premade coconut lotion this time as the base. Less messy, has a label.
Have cared for many an elderly woman with severe UTI. Many can be asymptomatic. Odor and color are good indicators as well as increased neuro issues. Confusion, weakness, moodiness, etc. So many break a hip at that point.
Relieved your mom is in recovery.
At least 24 hr NPO orders are standard until stable, lab values improved, and stroke/swallowing issues are ruled out.
Just to note that those "bugs" can remain in the bladder wall and are opportunistic regardless of a-bio tx.
My mom went chronic. Got her on a
Cycled UTI tincture I picked up at Sprouts along with high lacto bac probiotic and mineralized RO water with meals etc. Boosted quality of living for sure.
Thanks, she is alert today and has better labs. She seems to have turned the corner and I do think the enhanced lotion helps. The essential oil aroma is noticeable to the nurses but the atmosphere is not the suspicious CoV hypercontrol that I ran into with my sister's care.
