FYI here is an interesting place to get low cost lab tests. Thought you might like the link. Dr. Jen Brown on Substack gave it out. https://ownyourlabs.com/
all work is done through LabCorp... Let me know what you think. I did a little research and it seems very good.
I use Brave too. It gives better search results than Bing. I just have found Google gives me good research article results. I go back and forth between browsers do I am not always losing the tab I am working on.
JD - "If a summary of several different lay reader articles, and Wikipedia, are all missing critically important information, then to me, that seems really suspicious. How can so many online writers have missed the Pubmed research articles...this information truly seems to be suppressed in academic and lay reader circles."
Mr. Google, Wikipedia and all "curated" ne censored, narrative parroting resources aren't your friend...
Take the marshmallow test Agent Scully...
Type this in Google search: "safe blood" donation
Look at the results, something is missing...
Now type the same thing in the search engine at DuckDuckGo.com
See what's not missing but on TOP of the list, like it should be
Try DuckDuckGO, you might find more crawled material being allowed through the "filters".
Neither is curated AI your friend, which will not be uncensored by its' creators. Its schema functions as a human curated and groomed answer repository. Pure mimicry and only as good as the programmers. Increased usage of curated AI will only dumb down an already apathetic populace further.
To summarize, they will "school" you, the way they want to. Intelligence to the ability to properly filter, not regurgitate. This is the age of apocrypha and none of this is by happenstance Agent Scully.
I have been using Brave primarily now. I have too many tabs open so use another browser at times. Re marshmallows, I write in Socratic style a bit, lead the reader to the point.
For maps - it's Google. For shopping - probably Google.
For research - Mojeek spoons up a random buffet of resources I never knew existed.
With Brave - Mozillas Eich & Bondy have done a good job. Only 8% of their searches utilize a pass through, but that number will increase as they lean on the big boys for data they don't have, yet. It's clean but lean, and sometimes time consuming viz requires more click throughs and limits results.
Indeed, DDG has been compromised, but not like the big boys. I can research in depth, and rapidly get exposure to a wider variety of content.
All search algorithms have inherent biases, and all engines are curated to a certain degree.
This is how "bad" the search engine "hegemony" situation is:
Thanks, good to know. I have still been trying to reduce it without setting off the low serotonin symptoms.
>> that link didn't work for me though. I don't really like the way Mercola makes his articles disappear but he is survivor as an alt health provider, so whatever works.
Many thanks, Jennifer for a most enlightening article notwithstanding the AI help. A friend demonstrated AI power last night, writing an amazing poem in seconds. Last month, I downloaded a grammar assistant called 'Grammarly' but didn't notice that it was AI. Now it talks to me - and is most efficacious as well as speeding up my edits and spell-checks (a pity it's US appalling grammar!). So I use WordWeb (English) as a backup.
BTW - I am 80 this year and occasionally suffer cramps in my hands and lower legs. Is there a test for Magnesium?
Therapeutic trial used to be a medical standard for safe treatments = Just try it and see if it helps. If it does, then Yep that was likely the problem or part of it.
Doctors over-rely on testing now and less on overall appearance and lifestyle of the patient.
If gut issues are a problem then topical may be better absorbed. Epsom salt or magnesium chloride flakes in a bath or footsoak. Topical sprays of it didn't seem to absorb well when I tried it.
Magnesium chelates like glycine, threonate or citrate may be better absorbed supplements than magnesium oxide.

That does seem inexpensive, wow!
Thanks!
I too use Brave browser with Startpage search. Googol is not your friend. Yandex also seems a viable alternative. Used it years ago.
I find Natural Vitality Calm to be an excellent magnesium supplement. Been using it for decades. D3 with K2 as well.
Can’t get enough sun in the northern latitudes!
Thank you for sharing your journey Jennifer! 💖

I'd read that duckduckgo was compromised several years ago and switched to the Brave search engine.
Just did a search for "safe blood" on both search engines.
This site came up first on Brave:
https://safeblood.ch/en/
The dot com site: not listed on first page at all.
On Brave - search term: "safe blood" donation
safeblood.ch (Swiss site) comes up 2nd.
For maps - it's Google. For shopping - probably Google.

"Chilling" indeed
Patriot act was going to lapse and the Democrat controlled Congress renewed it. The government does whatever they want.

Re Niacin and NAD+
I found Dr. Mercola has some helpful research without links to his supplements. I copied the PDF.
content://com.android.chrome.FileProvider/downloads/more-health-benefits-of-niacinamide-pdf.pdf
He supports his statement of 50mg 3× OD
Thanks, good to know. I have still been trying to reduce it without setting off the low serotonin symptoms.

Here's the correct link, but do visit today, for tommorow it will be paywalled.

PS: the 48 hour paywall scheme was his legal compromise with the .gov / censorship complex for them not to destroy his company
Thanks, I copied it to a Word document.
