Jennifer, Thanks so much for the kind words and for sharing my post here. :)
I apologize for not being more clear in describing my book. The excerpts I shared regarding mitochondrial health from my book were from a specific chapter that focuses on nourishing health and resilience in a holistic way (from the cellular level up) using whole foods as medicine. However, that is only a small part of what the book focuses on. The book is intended to be an invitation for the reader to reconnect with the Earth in reciprocity by cultivating some of their own food and medicine at home. It guides the reader on a holistic journey from planting the seed in the Earth, companion planting, tending the crops, harvesting, preserving, creating in the kitchen and learning about the culinary traditions of many cultures, seed saving and composting kitchen scraps (so that one can perpetuate the cycle of producing an abundance of food and medicine while also giving back to the earth). So the book is about giving people the knowledge, tools and perspectives that can help them cultivate food and health sovereignty. Since I intended for it to be a holistic reference guide for people to learn from the wisdom of our ancestors, I also included a section of the book that offers the perspectives and information which will allow the reader to use food as medicine ( through elucidating on the roll of specific naturally occurring compounds and their supportive roll in key areas of the body). In essence, the focus of the book is more permaculture, regenerative garden and food preservation oriented than solely focusing on the health of the human body/cellular function. Here is where you can learn more about my book. https://recipesforreciprocity.com/
Looks like a fairly exhaustive list of all the viruses that were supposed to wipe mankind from the face of the planet in the 21st century.
Interesting to see chloroquine as quite active. No doubt the CDC will shout hosanna and bless it.
