IQs have been decreasing in men born after 1975, and were rising prior, from 1962-1975.

J. Kim also mentions declining sperm count and fertility rate, but also a decrease in the number of young adults that want to take on parenthood as a choice or life goal.
The IQ study - its the environment apparently, not the fluoridated water, glyphosate or other agricultural chemicals that humans have added to the environment (and bromide in wheat flour):
But among those born after 1975, scores fell. The cause of the IQ decline is due to environmental factors, and not genetics, said Ole Rogeburg, a senior research fellow at Ragnar Frisch Centre and co-author of the study on IQ scores, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences journal.
Study: IQ Scores Are Falling Due to Environmental Factors - Time
In 2018 CNN reported on a Norwegian study with similar findings, rising IQ levels for those born between 1962-1975, and declining levels for those born after 1975. The CNN article has a better explanation of “environment” as the cause. The rapid change, reversal even, suggests it is not genes, not a lack of smarter people having babies, but instead something about the modern environment is affecting everyone somewhat, or most people on average. Whether changes in schooling, social media, food supply, or other changes in modern life, something is different suddenly, and at a broad level across society. “IQ scores are falling and have been for decades” - (CNN)
Prenatal educator in the room (born in the 1962-75 window) - Reduced iodine intake has a huge impact on intelligence and is accumulative across generations.
If mom is low in iodine, her kids will likely have lower levels, and their kids may have even lower levels, and may have diagnosable problems due to excess halides in combination with low iodine. Prenatal and lactation guidance for iodine intake is likely inadequate in ratio to the halides in our food and water supplies.
In the 1950s fluoride was added to water, iodide was removed from flour and bromide added instead. We are now three and a half generations into subclinical hypothyroidism in women and worsening rates in their children. It effects fertility too, and depression, apathy, and probably breast and prostate cancer, Alzheimer’s dementia and autism, and other chronic conditions. *AND this seems planned, an early stage of the depopulation New World Order goals and insider group. The medical literature is extremely wrong about iodine and persists in their wrongness - which seems controlled by money and grants and what gets published and shared openly versus suppressed or even harassed.

Why is functional health care something dangerous to research in the US or talk about? (and elsewhere)?
It seems that dangerous people are in charge, but they are good at looking like shepherds instead of wolves in shepherd outfits.

*I have got some work done and did learn more interesting things about hyperinflammation, retinoids, and microRNA but it is very complex and early stages of research - too early for conclusions yet. Interesting connections, needs more research. And in the meantime, polyphenols in pomegranate are likely helping throughout the body due to modulation of epigenetics and microRNA.
“In the lasts years it has become evident that polyphenols modify cell functionality through epigenetic mechanisms, such as modulating microRNA (miRNA) levels. miRNAs are small non-coding RNAs of about 22 nucleotides in length, that modulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. miRNAs are involved in almost all biological processes, affect most metabolic pathways and recent evidence suggests their dysregulation in a number of metabolic disorders and diseases.”
