I remember reading about a * cure*

for fibromyalgia using guaifenesin, but to make it work you had to strictly avoid all salicylates. It just looked like one of those things that could never work, because you could never accomplish perfect avoidance of the salicylates 🤔

I am using the quaifenesin and that may be part of my issues but i think I've had these symptoms off and on for longer than use of the Mucinex.

I have a post on the topic. You may have seen it here. Timothy Winey had mentioned it/recommended it.

Aaarghh so frustrating!

" I stress in the video that trying to become less acidic and take glycine might be better than trying to restrict salicylate foods " This definitely looks more doable to me. But may be l should watch the video before saying that!

that is a pretty slideshow!

I am really annoyed with sub stack for making the cancel button so easy to hit when you are trying to write a post 🤬

The Nrf2 angle on lemongrass is new to me. I'm using a mostly lemongrass mix to apply to tummy occasionally for sibo and or Candida. and I find the lemongrass mix works really well for breathing, eucalyptus mixes don't really work for me. also I love the smell of lemongrass, I think how much we like a smell is a hint of whether it will be good for us or not. I always put lots of oregano on my salads. I am thankful that I do not seem to have salicylate sensitivity!

to cancel button is right above the little microphone symbol for doing voice to text. I need to be more careful around that thing!

Thanks. I was pleased. I made the slides yesterday and did the audio this morning. It could be better. That was my first try with the service. It was pretty easy but my slides seemed out of order on viewing it.

That is in my page about salicylate too, I just have been bad about most of my self care other than niacin and B complex. I am trying to get better organized, make it easier to do what I need.

Positive reinforcement works! The trick is to find something that is reinforcing for yourself, but hopefully it is not as tricky as finding things that are reinforcing for teenagers! God bless the middle school teacher, as one of my special education profs used to say.

Yes indeed, God bless middle school teachers. They must enjoy the age - curious and not yet as knows everything attitude.

One has to wonder why it is not mentioned that aspirin is a salicylate.
