Opens with a brief look at the need for individualized treatment, that starts 20 years ago ideally ;-) if we want to prevent conditions like Alzheimer's dementia.
I'm still building a picture of the disorder, and it may have a spectrum of contributory factors including mitochondrial dysfunction, autoimmune antibodies and myelin sheath insufficiencies.
I fully agree that pigeonholing to a named condition may not be helpful?

I was having trouble with Substack yesterday and just posted eventually. I meant to break that post into 3 parts, one just on the salicylate food sensitivity and lists, one on nasturtium, and leave the rest, link to the two other parts. But that didn't happen. My computer was freezing up. I think I will do the two solo parts though, and add them to my How To Section.
Not following all of that, but, glad smoking helps you out. I liked the nicotine effect on concentration for my ADHD. But I was overusing the lozenges.
The good news from that lengthy post, for me, is that if I stop eating so many salicylates, my congestion should improve and I can keep smoking marijuana. Which I enjoy and need for a gene difference. I have been feeling better today with the Mucinex and no more of salicylate foods.
Maybe you had been the one to comment about it then. I didn't remember. Thanks. I feel better and learned a ton from the Mark London fact check/whatever that was.
Thanks Jen, bookmarked.

I have been feeling better, fairly quickly too. I'm trying the ~ 2400 mg/day.
Are you salicylate sensitive too?
