Mamma always said:

'If your sick... soak up the sun'

'get your feet in the grass and mud...'

Always wear 'Leather shoes' and natural fibers ( cotton, merino wool, silk, linen) to allow your body to breath...

'Never wear 'flip flop' in public you never know when you will need to run from someone or something...

They've been given that name for a reason'

Linen bedsheets were once mandatory in Hospitals after Florence Nightingale insisted they were more beneficial for recovery and wrapping wounds..

Probably somewhere in the annals of facts unless already altered....

Good call on the moccasins! I'm looking for a new pair actually- so if you know of any decent companies that ship to Canada, I'm open to suggestions (;

here's a piece I wrote in grounding and EMF: https://romanshapoval.substack.com/p/grounding

These look nice but pricy

I had some all leather moccasins during college. They were comfy. I wore them all day but it was city living, concrete.

Hi Roman, These handmade shoes are made in Maine. Excellent quality. Many have leather soles. I LOVE your stack btw. Take care! https://www.quoddy.com/

I have been Earthing for years. I rarely get sick and I sleep extremely well.

The voltage difference between you and the ground goes up 10,000 for every floor you are above ground, so if you live on the 5th floor, you're carrying around a voltage difference of 50,000.

So living on the ground floor is better - just to be crystal clear?

I got a grounding pad that lives in my bed. It is plugged in to the ground part of a wall outlet. Right away I noticed that my feet were warmer at night - since I have some neuropathy this is a big deal. Before the grounding mat, I had to wear extra warm socks to bed, even in the summer. Now that it is getting colder, I put the socks back on, but can take them off during the night usually. Seem to be sleeping longer these days, not sure if that is the mat or the season change....

I'm thinking about getting one for driving!

I have wanted to get grounding for my bed but wasn't sure how to do it.

on the other hand, Jennifer, do you actually spend any time in your bed!? it looks like you are up reading and writing at all hours 🤪

Not sure if we need to get all the way off the concrete? I think I read that non-insulating materials like concrete and stone can also drain electrons, if they are in contact with the earth.

Anyway, I've been doing a little walking barefoot on the road and sidewalks as well as the grass.. Aside from the grounding, this stimulation of my feet seems to be helping the neuropathy.

Good to know, that is my impression from Timothy Winey's comment too.

One has to wonder why no one has ever marketed a product that places conductive pads on the inside and outside of footwear, connected by a wire.
