Fangirl moment - Dr. Mercola cited me in an article about iodine.
And CoV injection or infection linked to the creation of autoimmune thyroid antibodies and potentially hyperthryoidism/Grave's Disease.
Dr. Mercola wrote a thorough article about iodine including the Wolff-Chaikoff effect/error…. and quoted my article regarding my positive experience with iodine supplements resolving my fibrocystic breast pain. Iodine Truth and Lies, Dr. Joseph Mercola, April 17, 2023, https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2023/04/17/iodine-truth-and-lies.aspx (pdf: https://media.mercola.com/ImageServer/Public/2023/April/PDF/iodine-truth-and-lies-pdf.pdf)
My article that was cited:
Dr. Mercola writes very user-friendly articles and I have heard good feedback about his products. The suppression of his work by mainstream media is unfair. I learned about more goitrogens than fluoride, bromide, and perchlorate - we need to consider mercury and nitrate meat preservatives as goitrogens too. I always admire his summary of take-home points at the beginning of articles. I do struggle with outlining a thorough article in advance and tend to find my point towards the end and then copy/paste it to the opening.
Symptoms of iodine deficiency include:
“Fatigue, Muscle Weakness, Weight gain, Difficulty losing weight, Difficulty learning and remembering, Hair loss, Dry skin, Always feeling cold, Constipation, Slow heart rate, Difficulty getting pregnant, Heavy or irregular periods, Hoarse voice.” - Dr. Mercola
And a reply, on the topic of fibrocystic breast pain, adds a caution about fluoride content in green tea.
I have had Grave’s disease and first had autoimmune hypothyroidism that wasn’t diagnosed. I started high dose iodine on my own following a seminar by Dr. Brownstein - and I did not realize I needed selenium too and eventually went hyperthyroid. I got it under control quickly and have been fine since on a low iodine diet.
Symptoms of overactive thyroid, which may be called Grave’s disease or hyperthyroidism or thyrotoxicosis, include:
Easily losing weight while eating a lot of calories, jittery manic behavior, in thoughts and literally jittery hand tremors, reckless behavior may include sexual excess, thinking and decision making can be difficult, routine knowledge may be unaccessible - too hard to concentrate. Other symptoms may include: “Irritability, restlessness, hot flashes, increased sweating, brittle hair and hair loss, irregular menstruation or amenorrhea, males may develop breasts, shaking hands, irregular or rapid heart rate, nausea and vomiting, sleep difficulty, bulging eyes.” (msn.com/en-us/health/condition/hyperthyroidism)
Recently published research articles about thyroid and CoV injections suggest the chimeric spike protein is promoting autoimmune antibodies against thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor antibody (TRAb) and Anti-thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb).
Thyroid function and associated mood changes after COVID-19 vaccines in patients with Hashimoto thyroiditis, https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fimmu.2023.1129746/full?utm_source=S-TWT&utm_medium=SNET&utm_campaign=ECO_FIMMU_XXXXXXXX_auto-dlvrit
Which is part of a special supplement: The Thyroid and Covid-19: Volume II, https://www.frontiersin.org/research-topics/39795/the-thyroid-and-covid-19-volume-ii#articles
The gist seems to be that the CoV injections, or SARS-CoV-2 infection, are linked to autoimmune antibody creation against thyroid proteins. Overt Grave’s disease has been diagnosed following CoV infection or injection, but a yearlong study found elevated auto-antibodies without it having already progressed to overt hyperthyroidism (n = 70 healthcare workers in Japan after some exclusions).
*Opinion: There is no reason to expect that thyroid autoimmunity won’t worsen for the participants, without reducing levels of chimeric spike and its breakdown products (also harmful, can be prion like).
“Serum samples collected from seventy Japanese healthcare workers at baseline, 32 weeks after the second dose (pre-third dose), and 4 weeks after the third dose of the vaccine were analyzed. The time courses of anti-SARS-CoV-2 spike immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibody, thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor antibody (TRAb), and thyroid function were evaluated. Anti-thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb) and anti-thyroid peroxidase antibodies (TPOAb) were additionally evaluated in thirty-three participants.” Effect of SARS-CoV-2 BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine on thyroid autoimmunity: A twelve-month follow-up study, Morita, et al., 2023, https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fendo.2023.1058007/full
Getting the fluoride, bromide, mercury and nitrate meat preservatives out of the patient’s diet would also help combat the autoimmune thyroid risk. Cooking processed meats with nitrate preservatives (which keeps the meat very pink instead of it browning as it ages) at high heat can convert nitrates into nitrosamines which are a health negative. Woohoo! Congratulations on being cited!
I was red pilled by Dr. Mercola over 20 years ago. Kudos to the endorsement.
