Great work. Its a pity that some people shut down when the word Jewish is mentioned. Unfortunately most people haven't read Hannah Arendts work on Jewish history or actually are friends with any Jewish people.

Can I ask someone that fits the bill to come forward with lived experience to explain to us what being Jewish is all about in relation to Arendt' writing?

Imagine if you couldn't say the word cowboy to describe a cowboy? Herdsman? Bullrider? Chaps?

>>Ashkenazi Jews were European based and are not of the Semitic region (forner Palestine and the nearby region)<< Actually, most Ashkenazim are decended from the Khazars, who were not European but Asian, and not originally jewish. Khazaria was in the area of southwestern Russia and eastern "Ukraine," which is West Asia; and the people all converted to judaism along with their king. The Orthodox Christian Russians kicked them out, which is why they hate Russia and are now trying to retake "Ukraine." Current events there are not coincidence.
