MatchYourBatch.org is intended to provide visual exploration of the CDC's Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) data for individuals, clinicians, researchers, and scientists. At present, only COVID-19 related products can be searched, with the hope of adding all current data available from VAERS.

Can you explain what someone with a history of EBV, CFS, EDS and the MTHFR mutation should do beyond just avoiding Vit A rich foods?

How exactly do we get enough A to protect our eyes but not damage our bodies in the meantime?

I eat deep green veggies still and do still have night vision so I hope that is working. I don't know, is the honest answer. I don't have a doctor telling me what to do for myself. I just have worked on figuring it out and followed leads people have shared with me.

methyl folate, methyl or hydroxy cobalamin, choline, betaine is typically recommended but my gene allele in that makes dimethylglycine a need as a supplement along with methionine.

I do value a good genetic screening to learn the specific differences. I recently got mine redone by 3x4Genetics, I think is the name. I have a post or two about that and a long series on the Retinoid/ME/CFS topic.

As I have gotten healthier, farther out from first learning of the retinoid issue, my stumbles have been educational on portion. I have written posts about a few. 1/4 of a fresh peach left me feeling flu-like the next day or two. https://denutrients.substack.com/p/peaches-rich-in-carotenoids A little carrot in veggie Nori rolls left me worse the next day. Tart dried cherries in quantity turned out to be a problem. I can have a few though.

As if life today isn’t hard enough.

Yes, B6 too and maybe the bioavailable P5P form due to gene differences. I seem okay either type but need extra because I waste it in my urine from hemoglobin metabolism gene error - pyroluria I think. Untested to prove it though. I feel so much better with the zinc and B6 that I don't want to go without long enough to prove it in a questionable lab test.

Checklists are nice because it is too complex to really simply remember everything.

Bridget I didn't know you have the common MTHFR and FVL both?

Those are different and different testing correct?

They may be under one big umbrella i think but I see Mthfr can cause clots?!

Yes, somehow I’ve won the genetic lottery.

I gotta say, the fun never ends.

Hugs and yes ... the fun never ends.

Haa, I understand!

Well at least u know .and can act on Rx...so many don't know they even have those..

Wish docs would test everyone for both ..but I get $.. yet

Prevention worth pound of cure!

Important also to remember that blue light destroys our melanopsin receptors, liberating vitamin A and causes a hormonal cascade of crap.

I wonder if my blue light blocking glasses actually stop the damage. I didn’t go cheap on them, but we know little to nothing of so many things we’re sold.

I bought some not very expensive clip-ons for daytime screen use and more expensive fit-overs for evening which make everything look reddish.

It does seem more comfortable wearing them than not. Less over-stimulated in mood, but that can happen on Twitter anyway. Mad, mad world ;-)

Endotoxin can be a cause. Spike protein can be a cause of microclotting affecting retinal vasculature. LNP also contributes to the clotting risk.

We seriously need: 1) more autopsy data 2) animal studies testing each of these mechanisms to see which is more prevalent as a causative agent 3) definitive strategies for prevention and treatment based on the mechanisms found.

It is indeed a huge, huge, huge, thing to identify retinoids as a problem. If they are, health will not be achieved without vit A and carotenoid restriction.

And it should be identified with testing.
