Elevated IgG4 ~> VAIDS/ a preprint; Flavonoids -> let nature do the microbiology.
Short story - the wrong type of antibodies are being made in greater amounts than the type that would fight infection. Instead, the spike is tolerated, ignored, by immune cells.
“Globally, around 13.32 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses of diverse platforms have been given, and up to this date, 69.7% of the total population received at least one injection of a COVID-19 vaccine. […]
…increasing evidence has shown they [mRNA COVID-19 injections] do not produce sterilizing immunity, allowing people to suffer frequent re-infections. Recent research has also raised concerns that mRNA vaccines could induce immune tolerance, which, added to that caused by the virus itself, could complicate the clinical course of a COVID-19 infection.
Furthermore, recent investigations have found high IgG4 levels in people who were administered two or more injections of mRNA vaccines. It has been suggested that an increase in IgG4 levels could have a protecting role by preventing immune over-activation, similar to that occurring during successful allergen-specific immunotherapy by inhibiting IgE-induced effects.
Altogether, evidence suggests that the reported increase in the IgG4 levels detected after repeated vaccination with the mRNA vaccines is not a protective mechanism; rather, it may be a part of the immune tolerance mechanism to the spike protein that could promote unopposed SARS-CoV2 infection and replication by suppressing natural antiviral responses.
IgG4-induced suppression of the immune system due to repeated vaccination can also cause autoimmune diseases, promotes cancer growth, and autoimmune myocarditis in susceptible individuals.” (Uversky, et al., 2023)

Via NarfGB, #3 on the list below. NarfGB is sharing a paper that is suggesting a negative view about CoV may have led to a nocebo effect increase in IgG4. Fear and worry can increase inflammation and risk of infection - but mRNA gene therapy has a long research history showing that animals injected with it tend to develop immune intolerance and eventually die from the pathogen the injection was supposed to protect against. The strategy of mRNA therapy is not appropriate for inducing normal immune protection as our own cells are never supposed to be making a pathogenic protein. Our cells don’t make a coronavirus spike protein during a real infection with a coronavirus. The viral particles are made within an infected cell and then burst out of the cell membrane, taking some of the cell membrane with it.
When our own cells are artificially programmed to make a coronavirus spike on the cell membrane surface then any exosome or other particle budding off the cell surface may be taking the chimeric spike with it on the surface to spread to other areas of the body, or be exhaled or excreted in sweat. See image further below (Bansal, et al., 2021)
The advantage in animal research of the mRNA technology was in that ‘passive vaccination’ did occur as the exosomes excreted from one animal spread to others that hadn’t been injected. Adjuvants from an injection were not needed for the other animals to start making the passively spread mRNA gene treatment. The goal of the animal research in that study was to promote infertility - promoting health of the species was not a goal or concern. It was deemed ethically inappropriate except for wild animal populations. {I lost the screenshot/link about that one.}
In a real infection with CoV the spike would never be produced on the human cell surface in the way it is with the mRNA injections. That allows the exosome formation from bits of the spike encrusted human cell membrane, image top row, third pic. The cells were treated with a spike antibody that was combined with dye so the spike protein would be visible if present. (Bansal, et al., 2021, image, Fig. 1B below)
Even if someone is more worried or less worried about CoV issues or life in general, if they are injected with the mRNA to make chimeric spike on their cells, then they will be very likely to produce a lot of antibodies against it - whether neutralizing as a foreign protein that needs to be taken out, or tolerating types that allow it to pass through as something attached to a human cell.

Flavonoids help a healthy immune response by promoting Treg cells and inhibiting other negative factors. See Figure 2 (Han, et al., 2021, Figure 2)
The concluding statement: “In summary, flavonoids have shown significant immunomodulatory effects on different immune cells (Figure 2), suggesting the underlying mechanisms may be involved in regulating the expression of receptors or costimulatory molecules associated with immune cells, secretion of inflammatory factors, transduction of signalling pathways and others (Tables 1, 2). These results reveal that flavonoids may be a potential compound for patients with immune hyperactivation or immunodeficiency.” (Han, et al., 2021, Figure 2)
B cells, which are the type of immune cells that make antibodies, may be promoted or inhibited by polyphenols situationally - immunomodulatory rather than one specific action. “Another experiment showed the inhibition of IgG but not IgM in serum as well as the suppression of Th17 and increasing of Treg were induced by baicalin.105” (Han, et al., 2021)
Part of the article regarding T-cell immunity:
“Treg cells are pivotal immune cells and are a negative regulatory lymphocyte that functions through the suppression of harmful autoimmune T cells in immune response. The imbalance of Th cells and Treg cells get involved in allergy, autoimmune diseases and tumours, which can be recovered by polyphenol treatment in various disease model.84-86
IL-10 and TGF-β are the activator of Treg cells, meanwhile, Foxp3 is a characteristic transcription factor for Treg cell activation.87 Baicalin rich in Chinese herbal medicine not only increased the release of TGF-β and IL-10 but also improved the expression of Foxp3 in vivo, whose mechanism might account for the affecting mTOR activation.88, 89
Furthermore, quercetin enhanced the expression of Foxp3 targeting T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-containing protein 3 (Tim-3), known as inducible factor for Treg cells differentiation.78
Several studies revealed that EGCG improved airway inflammation by increasing Treg cells and decreasing pro-inflammatory cytokines through downregulating TGF-β1 signalling pathway in vivo.85, 90 [*green tea and pomegranate peel are sources]
In addition, the regulatory mechanism of flavonoids on Treg cells may be associated with induction of aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) expression, inhibition of DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) and suppression of Notch1/Jagged1 signalling (Table 2).88, 91, 92” (Han, et al., 2021) [*bullet points and bold added by me]

Wow. Look at baicalin effects. Impressive.
I want to buy it but I can’t find it on Amazon Canada/ Amazon.ca.
It’s often associated with balcalein when I google it. It’s hard to find info specific to baicalin vs balcalein. But are effects totally the same as in the study?
