I have thought about why people have babies that can't look after them.....or don't deserve them.

Every single solution I have come up with is in breach of human rights. What about the rights of the child!!!!

Oh well, looks like there will be a lot of orphans once the vax does it's job. Maybe some of you people that ' must have your own blood child' can think about someone else for once.

Sorry... I had a hard childhood, so I have no children, a vasectomy and a short fuse for thoughtless parents.

I am also firmly in support of more pre conception planning by both the male and female. Too many health issues are set up before the egg and sperm meet.

I also think we need more group homes for young families to stay in together and have some communal dining, playroom, and other areas where people can learn skills and have other role models of skills for the children involved.

I agree.

I like the small town model from the 60s back. When there was potentially ages 5 to 12 and some classrooms 5-17 yr old.

Teaching is a great way to learn. Kids teaching kids.....

It's unfortunate that not much that humanity creates scales well past the village. As soon as trading between towns begins I believe transparency is lost. Bit off topic but not?

Thanks for your work Jennifer.

very welcome and thanks for commenting.

Our brains prefer the village. Research found that dividing up huge corporations into smaller divisions or factories of some sort, some identifier, into groups that had about 150 people as a max - each division no more than 150 employees. That suited the brain comfort level better of employees than being part of a huger anonymous group. You get to know your coworkers and bosses better when you are consistently seeing the same 150 versus being adrift in a company of 10,000 employees.
