I started stacking your articles for my personal self use to remind myself on all the information you provide. I’m thinking if I can’t find your articles I have them saved? Lol. I have no idea. Lol. I’m assuming substack will keep them there for me? Lol.
Anyways. The info you provide is priceless and I like how you condense the important stuff for busy people.
Do the studies you have referenced show the meat/fat sources- certified organic, free range, grass fed, grain fed? What hormones have been used in the meat products. Herbicides, pesticides?
What sample of humans were examined?..... Etc...etc.... Stupid science generalisation and hubris is part of why we are where we are. Plus the made up science words that actually mean ' we don't know much at all'.
We observed this so eat this.....oops, sorry, new studies show this🤔🪓🚫💩
Sorry about that. My mum stopped eating fat and died at 64 from early onset dementia 'which has been shown ' to be caused partially by the deterioration of the myolin sheath, which just so happens to be made up of that bad stuff- cholesterol.
I agree. My mother was really into healthy eating too, and that is part of the reason I went into dietetics - but for decades the dietitian advice was not helping me and I was self-conscious overweight dietitian. Like a cancer surgeon who smokes cigarettes. I tried but needed iodine, selenium, moderate low carb diet, and higher dose nutrient support for my genetic differences. I had a bunch of issues that I had to learn about. Histamine excess, Retinoid Toxicity and salicylate sensitivity were more recent discoveries that made a huge difference.
My son & I took care of my mother with her severe dementia for 8 years until her passing at age 96 in 2019. Initially, I was perplexed as to why she developed dementia bc she always ate so healthily, relatively speaking. She grew up eating lots of vegetables, "turnip tops out of the cellar" she'd say, bc witnessing the slaughter of livestock animals made her sick. She was always eating raw & cooked vegetables & minimal amounts of meat, never any fast food Anyway, I came to the conclusion that she developed the dementia bc her gut microbiome was disrupted from years of eating ice cream despite a lactose intolerance that caused perpetual diarrhea. She'd take an OTC antidiarrheal then eat more ice cream. I bought her lactaid eventually, but I think the damage was already done to her gut & she likely had leaky gut.
Continuing to eat an inflammatory food does keep the body inflamed and that leads to histamine excess which I think underlies Alzheimer's damage in the hippocampus.
Microbiome matters too, dysfunction adds to the inflammation and can send amyloidosis promoting proteins from the gut to the brain via the vagal nerve route.
Thanks Jennifer. "I would suggest reading more about the endocannabinoid system and eicosanoids." - any book suggestions? Interesting - I just received an email regarding prostate issues and Saw Palmetto today from the Orthomolecular group:
You have changed my life with all your tips.

Thanks!!!!! Many thanks!!!!!
I always find you work interesting and research very thorough.
Thank you!
I think I understood some of that!

Fuck science.
Sorry about that too but everyone should be angry at this bullshit, after all, everyone has been poisoned to death by it for hundreds of years.

Are you aware of this SubStack? https://fenbendazole.substack.com/
Thanks again. Peace.
That line was geared more to the researchers - learn the biochemistry.
I bought a couple text books a decade or more ago and now it might be out of date. I haven't looked lately for newer compilations of research.
One is called Endocannabinoids
Neither are easy reads. Heavy neurology and biochemistry.
OK. Thanks Jennifer. Peace.
Charles Wright wrote an interesting article about endocannabinoid system a few months ago, FYI
