The aluminum leads to the excess of histamine which over activates brain support cells called microglia. Moderating histamine levels can moderate negative mental and physical symptoms.
from the microglia and endotoxin link - cannabinoid need is part of my family genetics. I give drops to my mom twice a day:

from the Microglia and LPS - the fragrance of violets - beta-ionone is protective. And available in the essential oil of the flower Osmanthus.

β-Ionone attenuates LPS-induced pro-inflammatory mediators such as NO, PGE2 and TNF-α in BV2 microglial cells via suppression of the NF-κB and MAPK pathway.

Cannabidiol and other cannabinoids reduce microglial activation in vitro and in vivo: relevance to Alzheimer''s disease.
I have been diffusing a few drops of Clary Sage, Rosemary and a pine forest blend. I have lavender in a 'Stress spritz' though that I use in other rooms. It is nice.
Brave AI says rosemary has been found helpful for anxiety/behavior issues in Alzheimer's and may be helpful in blends with lavender or lemon - No to the lemon. Citrus sensitivity adds to the histamine problem for my mother - even when diffused. Bergamot is normally calming of anxiety but was not for her. I have had to learn by trying. Citrus oils are in a lot of blends available for sale which made me realize it could be easy to have bad reactions and blame all essential oil, when it was really inexpensive citrus oils that were the problem.
Thanks for the mention Jennifer

Very well written for laymen to understand. Once again, inflammation is the issue in so many diseases. Remember “inflammation Nation?” Great read.
