I suspected the US too. The vaping mystery deaths were at the same time as Fort Dietrich being closed for sloppy procedures (no 'incident' was reported as the reason). And the Baric North Carolina paper showed the origins were North Carolina in part.

Much more is coming out in UK now but they will cover up as much as possible with extended Inquiries and Royal Commissions as per standard procedure.
