My liver labs were back to normal on Feb 27, 2024, except for the ALT (SGPT) was still slightly elevated at 30 but that is down from 68 on Nov 4, 2023 and 97 on Jan 3, 2024.
Excess purines in my diet and methyl folate supplement plus niacin were adding to elevated Uric Acid, now down to 5.0 which is still above optimal range but is within the ‘normal’ lab range.
My Calcium, Total Protein and Albumin levels were all back into normal ranges.
New low thing was not tested on the previous dates - my Creatine kinase is elevated slightly above the normal range but not sky rocketing high. It was 262 instead of 29-143 U/L. Above 500-1000 is more concerning and very severe/deadly is more like 5000 - based on a brief search.
Elevated Creatine Kinase may indicate muscle breakdown somewhere or immune deficiency. Cancer was also mentioned, but I think I am sitting at my computer too much working on my project and my old bruised thigh wound is worse again - it hurts. My shoulder and neck muscles are also really stiff. I have been trying to do more exercises for the lower back to balance the overworked bending forward muscles. Or I don’t know what the lab means. And/or I have autoimmune disease.
I’ve cut sodium out so much that now that is a little bit low at 132, normal range is 135-146 mmol/L.
Traditional Chinese Medicine and trying to be less angry may have helped too. I have been enjoying the activities in this book: The Five-Element Solution: Discover the Spiritual Side of Chinese Medicine to Release Stress, Clear Anxiety, and Reclaim Your Life, by Jean Haner, 2020. (Amazon) It includes five weeks of activities to rebalance your five elements. Mine were all at extremes rather than a well functioning midpoint. I was rereading the book for week five while at the lab office. The week’s element was Metal and the activities suggested adding more white, gray and metallic colors to your life, and consider visiting high places or adding pictures of blue skies with white clouds to your decorations.
Seek quiet time by yourself this week.
Don’t rush!
Focus on quality and purity this week - don’t eat fast food.
Do look at images of daytime sky with fluffy clouds.
Do wear high-quality fabrics - soft natural fibers of silk, cotton, rayon.
Reduce visual clutter - streamline stuff but without making that effort a stressor.
Get energy work - Reiki, acupuncture, energy clearing, essential oils or homeopathy, etc.
Use fragrance, maybe buy flowers.
Boost your self-esteem by listing things you’ve accomplished, big or small, recently or long ago.
Spend time in large open or high places.
Notice the beauty around you.
Practice gratitude.
Focus on “It’s good enough” this week. Tell your inner critic at every opportunity that “It’s good enough!'“
I was at a location with a high place that was metallic so I climbed the four flights of stairs to see what I could see.
Peace be with you all!
