China has urban roof top gardens planted with flowers for bees and other pollinator insects growing on top of the sunshades over carports. Smart!
Japan does have a lot of rooftop urban gardens many free for access by the public, but the image that went viral is of a Chinese car port according to this factcheck.afp.com.
