Joy wells up without any reason.

We also learn that there is vastly different perspective about having a Guru or master between the East and the West.
In Eastern tradition and culture it is a matter of pride to have a spiritual master. A master symbolizes security, love and great wealth. Being with a master or guru is thought as being with one’s Higher Self. Not having a master is thought to leave you orphaned - not fortunate.
In the West having a master is looked at from a dominance and power perspective - it is weak to have a master, maybe even shameful and suggesting subjugation. Masters enslave the weak and helpless.
Those are wise observations.
Ravi Shankar continues with the point that in the East it is even common to have a guru from many disciplines. A religious guru is your Dharma Guru, the family guru is your Kula Guru and a guru for other specific roles would be called a Vidya Guru. The spiritual guru is called Satguru.
In the East masters make their disciples more powerful. In the West having a master is thought to mean you are weak.

I shared another quote from the book in a post on peace-is-happy.org, “Praise the fools,” - Ravi Shankar. It is followed with information about self control and perseverance and the area of the brain which is involved in those abilities.
It is disconcerting to think about your own government waging biological warfare against you. It is much more encouraging to think that someone is an enlightened leader who will protect you and tell you what to do - the dominant master is also the authoritarian parent who tells you what to do for your own good, and you better do it or else bad consequences might occur, or definitely will occur because you will be punished.
Children who were raised with authoritarian parents and/or school systems and other leaders will instinctively seek it out as an adult because it will seem familiar, safe and comfortable. Making decisions for yourself is difficult, kind of scary, and not comfortable. It is also bumping up against change and no one likes to change their routine or their beliefs - it is theirs’, their possession, their right to be themselves - even if being themselves means following the lead of someone else.
When we want some guidance, input, or direction, then we will seek it out somewhere and that might be in a political figure or a celebrity singer or a favorite scientist - but would they be Enlightened Masters who do help provide helpful guidance? Or are they just in it for money? or worse, leading you astray, down some other pathway, than peace, love and ‘enlightenment’ - rather than doom, darkness, and lust?
When our governments are waging biological war against us, it is worth considering, as David Knight points out, that while Trump did not start any wars, or maybe just one little one, he didn’t end any of the seven wars that Obama started or continued — and the little one was the biological war and economic Lockdown war against his own nation and his own voting public. He likes having his name on things and his name is on the CoV injections which turn out to be a Department of Defense prototype for a gene editing treatment that treats both the injected and those exposed to the injected.
This is a Trojan Horse that was ready to spawn little exosome Trojan Horses by design. Parents who got the CoV injections had symptoms occurring in their children.
This was mentioned in Pfizer’s clinical trial regarding who was to be considered in the experimental group - pregnant woman exposed to an injected person but who were not injected - not officially part of the experiment except by passive exposure - by “shedding”.

Biological warfare has been let loose on the environment by our own governments (except for a few nations where the Presidents ended up mysteriously dead by random events shortly later).

I am now wondering if the growing louder “there is no chimeric spike” “fake everything”, is another way of saying “oops” instead of accepting that a harmful bioweapon has been released on the world. The two parties play an indispensable role in society's political machinery. This doesn't mean they have any real power, in terms of controlling the state or setting policy. Neither Party is the "lesser evil;" they are auxiliary subdivisions of the same evil.
To understand the political system, one must step back and regard its operation as an integrated whole. The system can't be properly understood if one's study of it begins with an uncritical acceptance of the 2-party system, and the conventional characterizations of the two parties.
If either Party disintegrated tomorrow, the US would be revealed for what it really is -- a One-Party state ruled by a narrow alliance of business interests. Both party's true function is largely theatrical.
Thus the whole magic of The Two Party Show -- the essential service it renders to the US power structure -- lies not in what they do, but in their mere existence: by simply existing, and doing nothing other than serving their corporate masters, they pretend to be something they are not; and this is enough to relieve despair and to let the system portray itself as a "democracy."
As long as the two parties exist, most Americans will believe we have a "democracy" and a "choice" in how we are ruled. They will not despair, and will not revolt, as long as they have this hope for "change within the system."
From the system's point of view, this mechanism serves as the ultimate safety valve -- it insures against a despairing populace, thus eliminates the threat of rebellion; yet guarantees that no serious change to the system will be mounted.
Any given piece of reactionary legislation is invariably supported by a higher percentage of Republicans during one term or by Democrats the next. Does this show that one or the other is the "lesser evil?" If one focuses on the noble efforts of a few outspoken dissenters, it's easy to feel that on any given issue one party is somewhat less evil. But in the larger picture, Party D invariably submits to what Party R more ardently promulgates until the next issue where the script gets flipped.
Thus the overall function of the system is not to fight for everyday people, but to trick the political consumers into participating in this totalitarian process.
Just as the Harlem Globetrotters need their Washington Generals to make their basketball games properly entertaining, Republicans and Democrats need each other for effective staging of the political show.
The two major political parties constitute a bipartisan dictatorship that is anchored by a shared guaranteed ballot access arrangement where both function as a controlled opposition for each other while preventing third parties from getting on the ballot to compete with both of them.
