My mother is an artist in many media, including pottery. She made beautiful thrown pots and vases and also made hand built and carved pottery sculpture.
My mom was a seamstress too and made doll heads that could have fabric bodies added.
This little girl was based on a photo of my mother's aunt as a toddler and my dad said the sculpture looks just like the photo. The figure is hollow inside but still fairly heavy.
A female sculpture that was not made for a doll body, and glazed more as an art sculpture.
Not glazed, unfinished child sculpture.
*I added an update to the recent pomegranate post about psin with chewing as a symptom of inflammation. If eating crunchy pomegranate seeds hurts too much - then you REALLY NEED to drink the juice and or pom peel tea and other inflammationreducing tactics, until you can chew crunchy things without pain. It isn't supposed to hurt to chew and chewing is protective for the hippocampus. (Chen, 2015) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4466515/ If it hurts to chew - that is a sign that things are wrong.
