People died in cars in the Maui fire, they may have been elderly retirees. This sounds like it was a trap and survivors aren't being helped, bodies aren't being gathered up. Goal? takeover the area?

While US crime gets old, fast these days, it is also sad that people died stuck in their cars in the Maui fire, especially if they were physically prevented from leaving on a public road.

Why didn't they walk? Answer, they may have been elderly people who couldn't walk far or fast. A woman with children in a car took video along their way and did make it to safety.

Regarding the police commander who was in charge of a Las Vegas mass shooting investigation, and now is Maui leading the way. According to John Collins, he had been FBI.

The following link has a video with a lengthy interview with Shelby Thomson, a resident living near Lahaina, and discussion of the day of the start of the fire. Shelby Thomson was in frequent phone contact with her mother who worked in the town of Lahaina and was one of the people trapped there circling the few main roads. Second hand account via the mother’s experience escaping. All exits were either blocked with power lines that fell in the 80 mile per hour wind or police barricades. The attitude by the local government officials was unconcerned as a fire was said to have been contained earlier in the day and the area was left and directing traffic seemed their primary focus. Shelby said her mother managed to get past a barricade and is safe. Their nearby home was not burned.

The fire moved so rapidly later in the day though that the town of Lahaina was engulfed in just 17 minutes - AND that number is being repeated in a name style ~ “the 17-minute fire”.

Shelby said a wildfire in the hills wouldn’t have been left unattended normally or shouldn't have as fires are not uncommon in the area during times of drought and are regularly contained safely. Residents might have to stay inside for a while but normally everything was fine as the fire would blow away from the shore and up the hill rather than towards Lahaina and the ocean. But the 80 mile per hour wind that day was unusual and from inland, not from the ocean direction.

Shelby had noticed that the wind seemed faster than typical and oddly from inland. That was the main thing that seemed unusual for most of the early part of the day. A small fire was reported to have been put out and normally a fire on a hillside would blow inward as wind came from the ocean and Lahaina direction, not towards it. People were not worried there initially.

The wind was high speed, blowing over a chicken coop which may have set a fire (I would need to relisten to that part), and the high-speed wind early in the day was why schools were closed. That was not typical for schools to close for wind but it happened that day in her nearby area too.

Also unusual: Tsunami alarms never sounded and there were no waves. Water in fact was shut off to the town during the hours prior to the fire reaching the town.

The description of the roadblocks plus the lack of survivors being rescued immediately and for many days, and bodies not being collected is highly unusual. Survivors are collecting family member bodies now per Shelby. That is very unusual. She also pointed out that just 15 miles away by ocean a huge military collection of floating hospital and other vessels is located and could have helped survivors out of the water that same night.

The video is long but worth seeing and includes a clip of a native Hawaiian talking about the wrongness of the wind/”hurricane”.

This seems like a mass murder of indigenous people. We all need to put down a collective foot on government sanctioned murder.

Soil and water samples might be worth gathering, toxins are created in fires of plastics and other modern materials. The paradise will take time to regrow. Whether any suspicious chemicals might be created from a DEW generated fire, I don’t know.

I am with Wealth Turtle on this point. How do you publish a conclusive book about a fire before it was even put out? They wouldn't know the conclusion or any investigation of events.

Propaganda is already setting the narrative for what seems a staged mass murder of a largely indigenous group of people and destruction of their homeland.

My heart hurts for this crime against nature and its people and animals. Bezos and Oprah Winfrey have said they would donate for rebuilding. Her quote specified … after a little while, something about waiting first. Waiting for survivors to die? This is really suspicious.
