Free ebooks - Live Pain Free Cookbook & Waves and Ripples
Also a 1902 Christmas lectures delivered at the Royal Institution of Great Britain. It is about why aether must exist - it is just the waves work->must have something to flow in.
This post also has links to a few recipe pages on two of my sites, pomegranate, quick breads, and bean soup. The Live Pain Free Cookbook, by Jesse Cannone, CFT, CPRS, MFT, with Tiffany Harelik, MA, is helpful guidance for people who are new to cooking from scratch or using herbs and spices.
**My internet is down, so I posting this work I started last night as is from my phone.
The pdf ebook was a freebie with a vitamin purchase I made, so I am passing it forward. It looks helpful and has about 40 recipes using nutritious foods - that do not take into account histamine or Retinoid Toxicity or TRP channel triggers or some other food sensitivity issue. I would need to make substitutions, or I would be in pain from some of the foods.
Individuals vary, and level of sensitivity can worsen and improve. At my worst white potato was inflammatory and even potato starch in a soup needed to be avoided. Now I can eat white potatoes but maybe shouldn’t because I think I do get a little more inflamed the next day. Portion size can matter and how often the problem food is eaten.
However, the book does have a nice overview to setting up a more whole foods-oriented cooking-from-scratch kitchen and pantry. It discusses typical uses of some favorite herbs and has helpful sections about pain and inflammation. It is a 176-page book with only about a third as recipes, so the focus is more general guidance with example menus and some recipes rather than primarily a recipe cookbook. It looks helpful but I couldn’t use some of the ingredients so it would cause pain for me to follow it exactly. (pdf in my Dropbox) - Helpful.
Having a well-stocked pantry can make it easier to prepare tasty foods from scratch. Staples can be purchased less often and make quick trips just for the more perishable fresh fruit and vegetables, and meats and dairy type foods. Making your own baking mix can also save time.
Example of a version I used regularly in the past: Pancakes in a jiffy Quick Bread Mix (transcendingsquare.com). Recipe is a category on that site and #tag.
More about baking substitutions for gluten free and egg free cookie recipes, and my basic bean soup: G8. Cookies & Bean Soup (effectivecare.info). Pages G10. Nrf2 Promoting Foods and G13. Pomegranate have more information and recipes. Updates are needed, those were early experiments for the pomegranate recipes, but it is still my basic bean soup.
And for something totally different - Christmas lectures from 1902, a 1923 4th Edition. Waves and Ripples in Water, Air, and Aether, being the 76th course of Christmas lectures delivered at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, by J. A. Fleming, MA, DSc., FRS. https://www.dropbox.com/s/g7ec5jvjiysjn5h/waves_and_ripples_in_water_air_and_aethe.pdf?dl=0
Aether - something must exist to allow waves to flow. Wilhelm Reich later measured an energy he called orgone but which turned out to be the aether that this book is trying to conceptualize based on a large number of other experiments on a varied types of waves. The behavior of the waves is all similar, no matter what type, and therefore the author suggests, there must be a difficult to perceive type of energy filling space even though it seems empty. Waves of light and other energy have to flow through something based on all the other examples of wave behavior.

This pdf was in my ebook file too and it makes the strong case the waves of light or sound or electricity and other types of waves are all moving through a substance, and they, all the wave types, act the same regarding resistance and interference and therefore aether must fill space and everything else too - everything that waves are moving through. He likened their differences to being just different frequencies, many octaves apart between the very long and very short types of waves. (Distance from the top of one wave crest to the next.)
It is not 100% correct and that is part of the fun, seeing where science was at in 1902 - and more to the point, in many ways it is more accurate than current beliefs about what fills space (theorized to be nothing). It is also fairly easy to follow as the lecture was meant for a mixed age group and to entertain. The book is full of experiments that would be easy to replicate as it is basic equipment and supplies. Available in 1902.
The third and last chapters are most exclusively about showing evidence that aether must exist. The book leads into the topic with chapters on water waves and electricity. The tone is fun and eager to share the wonders of nature.
In reading it, I was reminded of the electrical nature of a watery environment. Dehydration would make us electrically less conductive.
Energy waves don't crest over the other direction like big waves of water. They form a steady ripple of ups and downs.
