Feminine products would be helpful to have more available. Recognizing endocrine disrupting chemicals as a real physical cause of gender dysphoria is the bigger need.
*I save comments to posts when I don't want to lose track of them.
I replied to a post by Dr. Paul Alexander about feminine hygiene products being added to men’s bathrooms - he didn’t seem to get that the availability is for the biological women dressed as men - ‘trans-men’ - rather than being for ‘trans-women’ to have a pretend period - but maybe that happens too (Filed under: Things I would rather not think about).
My reply: This is about biological females who dress as men and want it to be known as trans-men that "men" can have periods and "men" can get pregnant. Just like "women" can have penises/peni?, and we women are never supposed to talk about female body parts again because it hurts the feelings of trans-women who have different shaped parts (and apparently are jealous of ours or hurt by ours or something). As a prenatal counselor, talking about female body parts is a job necessity and a trans-woman's feelings do not belong in other people's private counseling sessions or public health materials targeting child-bearing aged women and their health. It is about dominance in my opinion, and politics. There has been more talk about incubator babies and even transplanting uterus/uteri into trans-women as if that makes sense. Insanity is being supported for profit purposes and maybe for increasing the percent of infertility in child-bearing age people of either sex.
I am tired of word police who want everyone to step in line. As a prenatal counselor I would be happy to counsel on safe pregnancies for anyone who needed it and making feminine hygiene products more available is not a bad thing - but trying to change normal language usage is a dictatorship.

My husband and I are parents to four teenage girls and I purchase period underwear from Australian company Modibodi. I’ve written to them sharing my disappointment, dismay and disgust. Every adult female must push back on this encroachment of our space, wherever it appears.
Their advertising emails took a morally repugnant scientifically dubious turn about 3 months ago.
“Modibodi is for every body who menstruates, which is why we’re proud to introduce our All Gender Collection, featuring a range of classic styles, plus our new Pride Brief and Pride Longline Short.”
“Our All Gender Collection includes this new Pride Longline Short, with a pouch space to comfortably
wear a packer -and proudly be yourself.”
“It’s about time non-binary, gender diverse people and transgender men got the support they deserve when dealing with their period. Register to be the first to know when we drop our new collection.”
My reply: While the politicization and media push is wrong and grooming teens who are just confused teens, the impact of endocrine disrupting chemicals on kids is very real and increasing in percentage - so the trans-men and trans-women trend is biology based but "the feelings are hurt" so we can't talk about it as a real physical 'problem' - only as a beautiful 'diversity' that is super lovely and normal and we need to embrace and appreciate that sex and gender are not things, only beautiful acceptance of plastic surgeons is a thing. *and protect corporate profit because glyphosate and organophosphate chemical use in agriculture is more important than the future health of all living species on the planet. Gender changes are occurring in animals too, and micro peni or a shortened area between the urinary tract and sphincter is occurring more too. Homosexuality in animals is also more frequent. This is a biology based real problem due to modern chemicals and lack of iodine and we are NOT supposed to talk about any of that as the poor trans people don't want their feelings hurt.
That suppression is not new either. First, I wasn't supposed to talk about autism as something partially caused by environmental toxins. It might hurt the feelings of the poor autistic people to feel there is anything 'wrong' about them - they are diverse and beautiful and that is the only thing to talk about - how neurodiverse and wonderful autism is!
Tell that to the 70% in football helmets because they are banging their heads on the wall repetitively. Or tell that to the dead mom that kept her adult son home in her sole care too long. He beat her to death and later did seem somewhat aware and sad that his mother was gone. Society is going to have significant problems with lack of caregivers.
While it would be nice if toiletry products weren’t taxed - it seems if that started with one type it would need to extend to all the basic types as they all are a form of a “poor tax” too - the poor need to eat so food is not taxed - but laundry soap and garbage bags are taxed - so are the poor just supposed to be unhygienic? Where does help stop? Do we need to do laundry and wash dishes for people who can’t afford soap? How much of a Nanny state do people want to live in?
When overweight people are too heavy to clean themselves do we need to bathe them and change their diaper because they are too heavy to move around? If a person gets cancer from eating a junk food diet, do we pay for their care (as long as it is chemotherapy and radiation oriented?) - yes, we do. Alcoholics repeatedly can get into a health crisis, get dried out, and then repeat again. We try to help them anyway.
We all have issues, and the shared issues include a toxic food, air and water supply that is also harming animals. It would be nice to talk more about the toxins that are making us all sick in varied ways and less about who should be able to buy tampons conveniently. The simple answer to that question is - anyone who needs one should have easy access to one - or we should really fund and promote reusable menstrual cups and stop wasting so many paper products.
We are a disposable society and that is the problem. We need to switch to becoming a reusable society that preserves resources instead of quibbling over who gets to waste the most - or be the most frivolously useless in their attire. *Extremely long fingernails are self-disabling, high heel shoes are self-disabling, and worse yet, the new trend is to “identify” as disabled and then get surgery to match the imagined disability. Physicians have been claimed to have helped blind someone who identified as blind and to remove the arm of someone who identified as disabled. That should be illegal for a physician to do at the very least. Causing a physical harm because somebody is mentally crazy is not helping them to be less insane. It is promoting their insanity.
Gender dysphoria though, is or can be biology based from a mismatch of the maternal hormone environment within the uterus while a fetus is developing. Then in puberty more of the wrong hormone would increase the opposite gender behavior patterns. Body parts are based on DNA, while gender behavior is based on hormones the fetus was exposed to in greater amounts. = REAL and INCREASING IN RATE.
News to know - bleached tampons are not really that healthy - no one should be using them.
Menstrual cups gain popularity - (MayoClinicHealthSystem.org) - Silicon mini-cup, rounded, to fit over the cervix and collect menstrual flow, remove it and rinse it out, replace, repeat throughout the day. This would mean ‘trans-men’ would need to feel comfortable rinsing out their menstrual cup in the men’s bathroom sink. Other men might be freaked out - they seem uncomfortable on average with the topic of menstruation (my impression). It would probably freak out many women too who stilll use pads or tampons and keep it in the privacy of a bathroom stall.
Dioxins are in bleached tampons: “Another group of chemicals are dioxins, which are byproducts of the bleaching process involved in the manufacture of tampons. Dioxins are also a big concern; the World Health Organization calls dioxins “highly toxic” and categorizes them as a “known human carcinogen.””
Cancer, Tampons, Toxins and TSS: Is Your Tampon Safe? | Time.
As I restored my health from fairly bad fibromyalgia type pain and other symptoms, one of my changes did include switching to a non-bleached tampon from a health food store. The standard ones seemed to hurt, a burned-feeling slightly, eventually, is what I had noticed. The food co-op brand didn’t hurt.
Why do tampons - something unseen, never really meant to be seen, need to be bleached white?
If trans-men want to become activists on the topic of menstrual hygiene products - please focus on the safety or lack of safety and remember that all girls and women generally learn to always carry an extra or two with them just in case they need it. Females like the option of a coin machine in a public restroom but will usually have supplies with them or could ask a female coworker for a spare. Trans-men would not have the option of asking their male coworker unless also a trans-man. This is all getting a little silly - if we run out of toilet paper we have learned society practically shuts down. Consider that washclothes do exist.
The idea of modern humans surviving a cataclysmic disaster that sends us all back to primitive living - is highly amusing in many ways. Sorry, not sorry. I won’t do that well either - the humor is in recognizing that we have grown weak and lazy and spoiled.
Our pioneer forefathers would not know what to think of our soft, squishy lifestyles.
Wake-up - no one deserves to wipe your butt for you, so it would behoove you to try to stay healthy and fit enough to do so. And remember that washclothes exist. Part of problem solving is recognizing that more than one solution is possible. More than one strategy might reach a desired outcome.

Excellent! Please continue exposing the connection between environmental toxicity and ill health...the normies have no clue what 'endocrine disruptor' even means. I cross-posted this link to gab with the following [gently-edited] excerpt:
