Contest update -didn't place
Leaving the secondary contest - have fun creating! Refers to post: More Butyrate-promoting microbiome menu ideas.
The post More Butyrate-promoting microbiome menu ideas, is long and was based on a contest entry. It has food tech innovation ideas for promoting our microbiome and butyrate species. Strategies for small intestinal microbiome are different than needed for the colon butyrate producing species. See the post for that and other ideas for baking and chocolate innovation.
I didn’t place but I did get a nice email with an almost half off discount for attending the live conference later in the year. I’ll have to pass, been busy lately. One of 60 entries, maybe my ideas will have been of interest. It wasn’t what they wanted - a ready to go product to stock for larger wholesale distribution. I needed to already have a pomegranate zinc nanoparticle on my factory shelf - which I don’t.
I share ideas like it is a relay race and I am passing a baton forward with no idea who might reach out to grasp it.
In highschool I ran in the 880 relay - four runners each doing a 220 half-lap, a sprint. I wasn’t that fast but I tried.
Someone has to start the baton moving.
